Jimmie Wallet Deserves Better

This story is simply heartbreaking. I’ve probably stared at the above photo for 20 minutes and tried to imagine what he must be running though his mind. One minute he’s going to buy ice cream for his little girls and the next, they’re all dead. How do you recover from that? How?

You may notice some weird stuff over on the left side of the page today/tomorrow. I’m working on finding one decent ad company as well as adding a few new subpages and a search function. All should be well by tomorrow night.

boarders on disgusting that they felt his hair style relevant in this tragic story.

They’re just trying to give you a sense of the guy. His hair apparently is a sign of the type of person he is and devoting half a sentence to it in the bottom half of the article doesn’t seem to take away from the story IMHO.

Yeah, that really is such a sad story. I saw him first on the news report and he just looked lost. I just don’t know how you would ever go on after that.

if you look at the picture of the family it isn’t hard to see how much they loved each other and how happy they were- look at the 3 daughters in the back- two kissing each other and one looking up so happily. This is absolutely devestating.

the two in the back who are kissing are Mechelle and Paloma, mother and daughter… the picture paints an accurate picture of who they were, beautiful and loving,…Jimmie is doing ok, he has a HUGE support group and his one surviving daughter..
thank you for your kind thoughts….

jimmie is the husband of one of my best friend’s best friends (ever since they were kids). i had heard a lot about michelle over the years, and was looking forward to meeting her when i went to visit. i only ever talked to her via IM, but she was obviously one of those people who is never at a loss for something nice and true to say about and to you. talking to my friend tonight, she said jimmie has been so constantly surrounded by people and media, he hasn’t had a chance yet to probably even fully grasp what’s happened. he hasn’t been alone since the event itself. maybe that’s okay. but fuck, i hear he’s even gonna be on oprah. it’s bizarre, having someone you know suddenly catapulted to celebrity status because of some freak tragedy. their lives weren’t perfect, but i won’t get into the whys of that. michelle loved him with all her heart, and her kids, and was, by all accounts, something of an angelic source of light to all she came into contact with. please send healing thoughts out in his direction - as hokey as that sounds - and to his daughter jasmine, because i know he’s gonna need it when the constant media and social frenzy dissipates.

btw, that wasn’t a slight, at all…nobody’s lives are perfect. i just mean everyone has their ups and downs, and the media will do what they will with your image. but i have been thinking of everyone out there nonstop, and have a whole network of friends and family here who are sending you all, all of the wallet family and friends, a ton of love and courage. that’s really all.

It’s nice to see that random people who’ve stumbled upon Shyzer feel enough to write something in support of Jimmie. Shows how many people this story has really touched. Thanks to all who’ve left a comment here and by all means, keep it up. And above all, keep Jimmie in your minds and hearts.

yeah… I was just thinking the same thing, when all the hoopla settles will he crash and burn? we have him lifted up in prayers….mechelle was an awesome person.. thank you for your fond memories of her….speaks powerfully of how she touched many she didnt even meet face to face….I’ve seen the ups and downs and it just confirms that they were meant to be together

“someone close”… My love to you and yours as you try to find your strength in these crazed days. Jimmie, Jasmine and their lost ones are often spoken of by many “strangers”, let me assure you, and we all agree there are simply no words to accomplish the healing we so desperately wish we could grant them… Please just pass on to him and his daughter how the example of their loving family has resonated with so many people around the globe, and that the best tribute we can pay to those departed is to try and live out our precious days more like they did - simply, lovingly, joyfully, without expectation, without fear, and in celebration of natural beauty and each other… ~ Mia
