Bush Wants War

*start rant*

Well, earlier this week Congress voted to give President Bush the power to stop a dangerous dictator bent on acquiring nuclear weapons.

….no, not him. They’ve already gone Nuclear.

No, he’s our “friend”….For now..

Oh we have no clue what this guy is up to!

YES! There we go! As you know, the Bush administration has signed into law a resolution, calling for unilateral military action against Iraq due in particular to that nation’s efforts to acquire nuculear, or “nuke-u-lar” as President Bush prefers to say, weapons.

“The United States will not permit the world’s most dangerous regimes to threaten us with the world’s most detructive weapons.” President Bush - State of the Union Address - January 29 2002

Excellent! Tought, Firm, and Strong! So when North Korea startled the world yesterday with its claim that they have been covertly developing nuclear weapons for several years and actually might have some weapons already developed, well….you can imagine the administration’s swift and firm response! And the toughtest words came from President Bush’s….mid-level spokesman.

“The United States and our allies call for North Korea to comply with its commitments under the nonproliferation treaty and to eliminate its nuclear weapons program in a verifiable manner.”

BOO YA!!! TAKE THAT!!! IN YOUR FACE NORTH KOREA!!!!

Come on, that’s it?! Where’s the war cry?! Where’s the military action?! Where’s the coalition?! Where’s the invasion!?

Ok, ok, I’m sure there are some differences between Iraq and North Korea. Of course, they both are highly unstable, militarized regimes that threaten their neighbors and stockpile chemical and biological weapon while terrorizing and starving their own people and at the same time trying to develope nucular weapons. However, like I said, there are very huge differences between to two countries and their leaders….um……ok, Sadam has a mustache! SEE! That explains why two countries can do the exact same thing and President Bush sees fit to invade one and ignore the other. Ahhh, but I forgot, this is a war on terrorism, not just Iraq. That’s why we are mainly going after Al Quida and Bin Ladin now. Oh wait, we aren’t? Why not? Let’s allow President Bush to clear this up for us.

“So uh, uh, it’s a comparision that’s, uh, I, I can’t make because, I, I can’t distingiush between the two becasue they are both equally as bad, and equally as evil, and equally as destructive.” Well, I couldn’t have said it better. Oh wait, there’s more? Good good…

“You can’t distinguish between AL Quida and Sadam when you talk about terror.”

You can’t? Ok, let me give this a shot here. Al Quida is an ideologically driven, underground ultra Islamic terrorist network. And Sadam Hussien is the dictator of a secular middle-eastern nation that seeks mild regional dominance. I DID IT! YES!!!!! HE SAID IT COULDN’T BE DONE! Wow, it’s almost a shame we are going to war anyway….
